Welcome to my website and thank you for your interest in my book. Kept in the Dark is based on a crime from the 1950s that rocked my family and yet was kept hidden from me throughout my entire life – until now. A box of personal letters and incriminating evidence was saved and left for me after everyone involved was gone.
The book covers the story but with this site, I wanted to share the process. Once I got past the initial shock of discovery, I began to pull the story together. I tried to fill in the blanks and connect the bits and pieces realizing I’ll never know everything. And yet, I think you’ll be amazed at what and how things came together. I hope you’ll accept my invitation to join me on this journey.
